We offer a wide range of drama-based workshops for schools. Ranging from Teamwork & Collaboration to Shakespeare.
We always strive to support the curriculum, bringing the topics and themes the children are exploring in the classroom to life through drama. Take a look at our workshops for schools. If you can’t see the play you’d like us to workshop, or if there are any themes you’d like us to focus on, just let us know and we’ll tailor-make a workshop that’s right for you.

This 90-minute workshop for KS2 helps children to build strong bonds with their peers. Working together as a whole group students explore what it feels like to collaborate without leaders. When moments of conflict arise, we work together to find peaceful solutions.
Children will:
- Work collaboratively

- Listen to the ideas of others and share our own
- Find peaceful solutions to conflict
We'll definitely be booking The Arts Place again for next year and would recommend you do too
Emily ran two fabulous drama workshops at our school. She had the children 'in the palm of her hand' the entire time with a variety of different experiences to help them develop their cooperative and team-building skills. Emily was well organised and communicated efficiently with us to prepare a workshop that met our needs. The children had a wonderful time (and so did the teachers!)!

WW2 Workshop
A 2-hour workshop exploring the lives of the children in Blitz Britain. Students put themselves in the shoes of the children evacuated from London to their temporary homes in the Devon countryside. Using dramatic exercises we recreate the worlds together imaginatively and explore the differing range of emotions and hardships the children experienced at that time.
